Orlando Outlets: The 2026 Guide

1. Overview

• Orlando has two Simon outlets (Premium Outlets) along the International Drive corridor and one independent outlet near Disney, Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores ^[2][7][10].
• Orlando International describes itself as Florida's largest outlet destination ^[2]. Orlando Vineland describes itself as the only luxury outlet in the Orlando market ^[7].
• Florida has no tax refund for tourists: the sales tax you pay at the register is not refunded ^[20].

2. The outlets

2.1 Orlando International Premium Outlets

• Address: 4951 International Dr, Orlando, FL 32819. Phone: (407) 352-9600 ^[2].
• Getting there
  • I-RIDE Trolley: the Red Line starts at this outlet and runs to Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets, every 20 minutes ^[17][23]. According to the outlet's page, it is stop no. 1 ^[3]. ⚠️ Unverified / check before you go: stop numbers only appear on the official trolley map, which we did not check. For hours, fares and passes, see "I-RIDE Trolley: hours and fares" just below.
  • I-RIDE Trolley: hours and fares (checked on 27/10/2026) ^[17][23]:
    • Runs every day, 8:00 to 22:30, with no fixed timetable.
    • Red Line: every 20 minutes. Green Line: up to 60 minutes between trolleys; the official sources don't say whether it stops at the outlets.
    • Fare: US$ 2; children 3 to 9, US$ 1; under 3 ride free; 65+ pay US$ 0.25. Bring exact change.
    • Unlimited-ride passes: US$ 8 (1 day), US$ 10 (3 days), US$ 12 (5 days), US$ 18 (7 days) and US$ 22 (14 days). They are not sold on board.
    • Transfers between the Red and Green Lines are free.
  • LYNX bus: according to the outlet, routes 8, 42 and 24 stop near the center ^[2]. ⚠️ Unverified / check before you go: these routes were not checked on the LYNX website. Use the trip planner at golynx.com.
  • Taxi: Mears Taxi, (407) 422-2222 ^[3].
  • Uber/rideshare: there is a dedicated rideshare pick-up and drop-off area, marked on the center map ^[4].
  • Car: from the airport (MCO), take 528 West, then the Florida Turnpike North and I-4 West to exit 75A (Universal); head to International Drive and turn left. The outlet is at the north end of I-Drive ^[2].
  • Parking: valet every day for US$ 15 at the main entrance, near Starbucks; Premium Parking for US$ 12 Friday to Sunday, near the main entrance; five 30-minute Express spaces; parking reservations through the MyPark app (prices as shown on the outlet's page on 27/10/2026) ^[2]. The website doesn't list a price for regular parking.

• Hours: Monday to Saturday, 10:00–21:00; Sunday, 11:00–19:00. Individual stores may keep their own hours ^[1].
  • 2026 special dates: Thanksgiving (26/11) closed; Black Friday (27/11) 05:00–22:00; 28/11 09:00–22:00; 18 to 23/12 and 26/12, 09:00–22:00; Christmas Eve (24/12) 09:00–18:00; Christmas Day (25/12) closed; New Year's Eve (31/12) 10:00–18:00 ^[1].
• Tax-free: not available in Florida (see section 3) ^[20].
• Tips:
  • Simon Guest Services is in the food court and at the management office next to Old Navy, open Thursday to Monday, 11:00–19:00 (closed Tuesday and Wednesday) ^[2].
  • Strollers can be rented at 5 locations: near Old Navy, Polo Ralph Lauren, Starbucks, BOSS Outlet and Nike Factory Store ^[2].
  • The center directories come in English, Chinese, Mandarin and Spanish versions; the website doesn't mention a Portuguese version ^[2].
  • The food court has about 20 options, including Brazilian and Latin American food, according to the outlet ^[2].

2.2 Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets

• Address: 8200 Vineland Ave, Orlando, FL 32821. Phone: (407) 238-7787 ^[7].
• Getting there
  • I-RIDE Trolley: last stop of the Red Line that starts at Orlando International, every 20 minutes ^[17][23]. According to the outlet's page, it is stop no. 42 ^[8] (⚠️ number not checked on the official map). For hours and fares, see section 2.1.
  • Taxi: Mears Taxi, (407) 422-2222 ^[8].
  • Uber/rideshare: pick-up and drop-off near The Promenade, next to the Information Center ^[8].
  • Car: take I-4 to exit 68 (Rte. 535), then go 1 mile on Vineland Avenue. If you are heading south on International Drive, drive past SeaWorld and turn right at the light onto Vineland Avenue ^[7].
  • Parking: valet every day for US$ 15 (price as shown on the outlet's page on 27/10/2026), parking reservations through the MyPark app, and spaces for expectant mothers and families with young children at the Adidas entrance and at the Promenade ^[7]. The website doesn't list a price for regular parking.

• Tips:
  • Simon Guest Services is in the food court and is open every day, 11:00–19:00. The Promenade desk is temporarily closed ^[7].
  • Groups check in at Guest Services, where they pick up maps and coupon booklets ^[7].
  • The outlet rents shopping carts and strollers, and has 4 ATMs ^[7].

2.3 Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores

• Address: 15657 State Road 535, Orlando, FL 32821. For GPS, 15657 South Apopka Vineland Road also works. Phone: 407-238-9301 ^[10].
• Getting there
  • Free shuttle: the outlet runs a free shopping shuttle, Monday to Sunday, with fixed round-trip times from participating hotels and resorts in Orlando/Lake Buena Vista and Kissimmee. Check whether your hotel is on the list, and the pick-up time, on the official page. Shuttle phone: 407-363-1093 ^[12].
  • Car and parking: free parking in front of the stores, according to the outlet ^[10]. The official map shows access from I-4, exit 68, and from State Road 535 ^[11].
  • ⚠️ Unverified / check before you go: the website has no information on the I-RIDE Trolley, LYNX buses or a rideshare pick-up area.

  • ⚠️ Unverified / check before you go: the website's holiday calendar has errors in the year and the day of the week (for example, the Black Friday hours appear under the heading "2025"). Call 407-238-9301 before going on a holiday ^[13].
• Tax-free: not available in Florida (section 3) ^[20].
• Tips:
  • On site there is luggage storage and a package shipping service (Orlando Baggage Storage & Orlando Package Depot), plus the Welcome Center with stroller rental (World Strollers) ^[11].
  • The food court (LBV Eatery) has Cantina Brazil ^[11].
  • The outlet publishes an official coupon booklet ("A Coupon Brochure-24 Coupons"), valid until 31/10/2026, and has a free deals newsletter ^[14].

3. Sales tax and tax-free shopping in Orlando

• The U.S. has no VAT: the tax is sales tax, added to the price tag at the register ^[18][20].
• Rate in Orange County (Orlando): 6.5%. That is Florida's 6% state rate ^[18] plus a 0.5% county surtax (discretionary sales surtax), in effect until 31/12/2035 ^[19].
• There is no refund for tourists. The Florida Department of Revenue says the law does not allow a refund of sales tax paid during a visit, even if the item leaves the state ^[20].
• In practice: to compare with prices at home, add 6.5% to the price on the tag ^[18][19].

4. Orlando outlet news and updates

• 27/10/2026: Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores has an official coupon booklet, valid until 31/10/2026 ^[14].
• 27/10/2026: both Simon outlets have published their holiday hours: Black Friday (27/11) 05:00 to 22:00, closed on Thanksgiving (26/11) and Christmas Day (25/12) ^[1][6].
• 27/10/2026: the Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores calendar lists a "Veterans Day Weekend In-Store Sales Event" on 11/11/2026. The outlet doesn't give specific discounts ^[13].

5. Taking it home (Brazil's Receita Federal allowance)

This section applies only to travelers who live in Brazil. If you live in another country, check your own country's customs rules before you travel. Duty-free allowance: arriving in Brazil by air or sea, each traveler has an allowance of US$ 1,000 in goods, granted once every 30 days. The allowance is individual and non-transferable: you can't combine it with family members' allowances. Duty-free purchases made when leaving Brazil or abroad may count toward this allowance ^[21]. Duty-free on arrival: there is an additional allowance of US$ 1,000 for purchases at the duty-free shop of the first airport of arrival in Brazil ^[21]. Over the allowance? Anything above it pays 50% import duty. Declare it through e-DBV and go through the "Bens a Declarar" (goods to declare) channel. Anyone who goes through "Nada a Declarar" (nothing to declare) with goods that should have been declared is fined 50% of the amount over the allowance ^[22]. Quantity limits: for goods over US$ 10, the limit is up to 20 units, with no more than 03 identical items; for goods under US$ 10, up to 20 units, with no more than 10 identical items ^[21]. For information only; it does not replace the Receita Federal's Guia do Viajante. Check the current rules before you travel.

6. Official coupons and rewards programs

• Simon+ (Orlando International and Vineland): Simon's free loyalty program, which replaced the former VIP Shopper Club. For U.S. residents, it gives access to exclusive offers, member rewards and cashback ^[15]. We don't publish coupons or member discounts: see the offers on the official website after you sign up.
  • If you live outside the U.S.: according to Simon's help center, residents of some countries can sign up as a Limited Access Member, with access to exclusive offers at participating Simon centers in the U.S., but no points and no cashback ^[16]. Simon doesn't publish the list of these countries and may change who is eligible at any time, without notice ^[16][24]. ⚠️ Unverified / check before you go: there is no confirmation that residents of Brazil can sign up. Brazil appears neither in the help center nor in the program terms ^[16][24]. Try signing up before you travel.
• Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores: has an official coupon booklet, valid until 31/10/2026, and a free newsletter ^[14].
